Phillies Trade Worley To Twins For Revere
Shortly after Thursday's Rule-5 draft was complete, the Twins agreed to send outfielder Ben Revere to the Philadelphia Phillies, a league source confirmed. According to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, the Twins received 25-year-old right-hander Vance Worley in return. It's possible the Twins may have received another prospect in the deal as well.

Thome Blasts 599 & 600 Career Homeruns
DETROIT -- When Jim Thome arrived at the ballpark, his pursuit of 600 home runs had been all but forgotten.
Minnesota had just traded Delmon Young to the Detroit Tigers -- the very team Thome's Twins were about to face. And besides, Thome was in the middle of a slow, injury-plagued chase for the milestone.Then, in two innings, the 40-year-old slugger reminded everyone why he's become one of baseball's greatest power hitters.

Twins Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew Passes Away
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Twins legend Harmon Killebrew lost his battle with esophageal cancer Tuesday morning, passing away at his Scottsdale, Ariz.
