Temple to retire Hal Lear's number Jan. 30
Former Temple guard Hal Lear will have his number six retired in a ceremony at halftime of Temple's game against Richmond on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the Liacouras Center.

Temple to face Duke at Izod Center
Mike Krzyzewski will bring Duke to the Izod Center.
The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority announced Monday that Duke will play Temple at the arena Dec. 8 as the second game of a college basketball doubleheader that also will have St. Peter's facing Loyola, Md.

Temple Moving To Big East Conference
NEW YORK (AP) - Nearly a decade after Temple's moribund football program was pushed out of the Big East, the revitalized Owls are rejoining the conference - and bringing along their potent men's basketball team.
The school will move to the Big East for football next season and all other sports in 2013.

Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones & Rick Brunson to be Inducted into Temple Athletics Hall of Fame
PHILADELPHIA – It will be a special night on Saturday, February 19 as the three former Temple University men’s basketball greats - Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones and Rick Brunson – will be formally inducted into the Temple University Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2011 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia located at 237 South Broad Street. They will also be honored during halftime of Temple’s men’s basketball game against Saint Joseph’s at the Liacouras Center on Sunday, February 20 (4:00 p.m.).
