Could We See Samoa Joe On The Main Roster Soon? #MMBWWE #MMBNXT

Samoa Joe had reportedly signed a full-time WWE contract after impressing officials with his work at the recent NXT tapings and due to the success of his t-shirt sales.

Joe has not actually signed the contract as of earlier today but both sides have agreed on the deal and the paperwork was being put together. The new deal will not see Joe go straight to the main roster as he will be a focal point of NXT for a few months. Obviously Joe is expected to end up on the main roster, possibly fast-tracked as they've done with Kevin Owens.

Regarding Joe and Ring of Honor, he is still teaming with AJ Styles to face Kazarian and Daniels at the July 20th ROH TV tapings and this will likely be Joe's farewell but the company was looking at using Joe for more dates until the news came out about the full-time deal with WWE. We've noted that Joe will still be fulfilling all indie dates that are scheduled but WWE will likely come first if they needed him on a date that was already booked for an indie.

Samoa Joe Could Be Kept Off ROH TV Due To WWE Contract #MMBWWE #MMBROH

Joe is currently scheduled to work the June 20th ROH TV tapings, teaming with AJ Styles to face Kazarian and Daniels. ROH is likely also awaiting confirmation on whether or not they will be able to use Joe on TV, if they haven't found out already.

NXT Champion Kevin Owens’ title match against Sami Zayn ended in chaos as Samoa Joe stepped into NXT #MMBNXT

In a highly anticipated and very personal rematch, former best friends Sami Zayn and champion Kevin Owens went head-to-head for the NXT Title.
Early mind games by the champion quickly gave way to a true brawl that rampaged inside and outside the ring. into the NXT Universe. Back in the ring, like a man possessed, Zayn seemed to have an answer for almost everything Owens threw at him – that was until the action moved back outside and Owens suddenly the determined challenger with a Pop-up Powerbomb onto the ring apron. From there, the vicious titleholder would not relent, refusing to let officials check on Zayn — still recovering from an injury suffered weeks ago in a breakthrough clash on Monday Night Raw against John Cena — and then unleashed an absolute onslaught on his defenseless adversary.

TNA Leaves Door Open For Samoa Joe Return #MMBTNA

Regarding Samoa Joe leaving TNA, word is that the two sides negotiated and tried to come to terms on a new deal up until the end and things remained friendly between Joe and the company. The situation was described as similar to the one that led to AJ Styles leaving in 2013 where TNA was not going to be able to match what Joe had been making. TNA made their final offer and left things up to Joe.

When he decided to leave, TNA officials made it clear to Joe that there was no heat on him and that the door would be open for a future return.

Another lesser factor that had to do with Joe's departure is the company looking to invest more in newer talents coming in.

Backstage Reaction To Samoa Joe Leaving TNA #MMBTNA

Initial reaction to Samoa Joe leaving TNA among the other wrestlers is that they are very down because Joe and the company couldn't come to terms on a new deal, according to PWInsider.

Joe has always been seen as a leader in the locker room and was well-liked by most everyone. Joe's departure is leaving a hole in the roster similar to the one left when AJ Styles and TNA parted ways.
