Rusev apparently injured his foot or ankle during a match with Ryback at last night's WWE SmackDown tapings in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He was later seen in a wheelchair after the show.

As seen on WWE RAW from Brooklyn, The Rock made a surprise return and confronted Rusev. An in-ring segment led to The Rock attacking Rusev and sending him out of the ring.
WWE officials did not want Rock to do any more than what he did to Rusev; no Rock Bottom, People's Elbow or anything like that, possibly to keep Rusev strong.
The feeling among people backstage at RAW last night that that a match between Rock and Rusev is doubtful but obviously it could be possible for WrestleMania 31 season some time.

WWE has dropped "Alexander" from Rusev's name and he will be called just Rusev from here on out. His WWE.com profile and Twitter has been updated to reflect the change.
