PWInsider insists that reports of Rob Van Dam not re-signing with WWE are incorrect. RVD is already under contract, as we have noted, his deal calls for him to work 90 days and then take time off, as much as he wants. Van Dam can come back whenever he wants for another 90 days of work.
Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro are being pushed because WWE officials are concerned about the lack of good heels on the roster. The company is actually looking long-term in that they need to build more heels.

Regarding the online rumor of Rob Van Dam returning to WWE, Power Slam confirms in their latest issue that RVD is seriously considering returning to the organization once his contract with TNA Wrestling expires. The magazine adds that the feeling is mutual as people in WWE want the master of the Five-Star Frog Splash back.
Power Slamwrestling magazine stated Thursday that a TNA wrestler is considering joining WWE. "Someone told me this week that Rob Van Dam is seriously considering a return to WWE," wrote Findlay Martin, magazine editor. Van Dam performed for WWE from 2001 to 2007 before joining TNA Wrestling in 2010. Should RVD return to WWE, he would should join a select group of former WWE world champions—Booker T, Kevin Nash and Mick Foley—who joined TNA and ultimately returned to the Stamford based organization.
