#SayHerName: Hashtag Surfaces After Transgender Woman Is Assaulted and Killed in Philadelphia

Kiesha Jenkins was assaulted by five or six men and fatally shot in North Philadelphia Tuesday morning, police said. The hashtag is used to raise awareness for violence against black women.

Police have yet to rule if this was a hate crime, a robbery, or something else. Neighborhood members say prostitution is a problem in the area where Kiesha was attacked and killed. Neighbors say transgender women and male prostitutes have worked the area in the past and have become targets for robberies. No word if Kiesha was working the area, but police are asking for anyone who knows any more information to contact them.

NXT Coming To Philadelphia? #MMBNXT

F4Wonline.com reports that WWE is saying they do not have dates confirmed for the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia. There was contact made with the arena for possible shows on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th but WWE sources say there are no shows scheduled for either night at this point.

Philly Still Interested In Hosting Wrestlemania #MMBWWE #MMBMania

Philly.com reports that the city of Philadelphia is still very interested in hosting a future WWE WrestleMania event. Philadelphia was unable to make a bid for WrestleMania 31 or 32 due to scheduling conflicts with local venues but will be bidding on future events.
