Michael Vick Wants Plaxico Burress on the Eagles
Plaxico Burress is set to be released from prison on June 6 — that's two weeks from yesterday — and Roger Goodell has said that he won't face any further discipline from the league once he's out, leaving him free to sign with a team once the lockout ends. Over the weekend, Gary Myerswrote that he's been hearing that Burress doesn't want to play in New York, which would rule out the Giants — and the Jets for that matter. (Sorry, Eli.) He named a few teams that might be interested (the Steelers, Chargers, Falcons, and Ravens), but wrote that the Eagles "will eventually be first in line." It's an idea Michael Vick, someone who can relate to the process of looking for a new team after being released from prison, can get behind.

CHICAGO -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not be appearing on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" after all.A show spokesman said Wednesday representatives of the NFL star called late Tuesday to cancel his appearance for personal reasons. The daytime talk show host's interview with Vick was set to air Thursday, Feb. 24.
"After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview," Vick said in a statement. "I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future."
The interview was to cover Vick's time in prison, his work with the Humane Society and his return to the NFL.
Vick missed two seasons and served 18 months in federal prison for a dogfighting operation based on his property in Surry County, Va.
He was reinstated to the NFL for the 2009 season and has been doing public service work, including with the Humane Society.

Oprah To Interview Michael Vick This Thursday
I reported awhile back Piers Morgan and Orpah were in a battle to see who would get an exclusive interview with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick (see here). Well the results are in and the winner is Oprah Winfrey!!! You get a dog and you get a dog and Michael...well you get to talk to Oprah sorry no dog for you.
The interview is set to air this Thursday on the Orpah Show, should be interested and very emotional. Rumors are rapid that Oprah is going to announce she has a long lost sister who too was involved a dog fighting ring. So make sure not to miss it this Thursday. - Mix Masta B
