'Rally Bear' banned from #Dodgers Stadium for six months - #MMBSports

He was immediately ejected from the game and has now been slapped with a six-month ban from Dodger Stadium. Per the Los Angeles Times, the man behind the suit was 50-year-old Mark Monninger of Rancho Cucamonga and he was hoping to promote the idea that the Dodgers should have a mascot.
"I'm not trying to promote any organization or cause.... I just want to show fans, this is what is out there, this is someone that can entertain you," he said (latimes.com).
Monninger was not arrested, but he faces the possibility should he violate his six-month suspension and show up.

Dodgers have an amazing All-Star wish list, and yes, it includes Jimmy Rollins

The Dodgers -- with a richer, better owner, a desperate need for offense and a slightly-less desperate need for a starting pitcher -- look like they could be the most active, interesting buyer this July. Heck, they have a wish list that looks like an All-Star lineup.

Dodgers Owner Frank McCourt To Sue Major League Baseball

MLB Commissioner Bud Selig told Dodgers owner Frank McCourt on Wednesday he will appoint a MLB representative in a few days to oversee all aspects of  the business and day-to-day operations of the club. However, Frank McCourt appeared to signal his intent to challenge Selig’s decision and I’m being told he will sue MLB for control of the team. “Major League Baseball sets strict financial guidelines which all 30 teams must follow. The Dodgers are in compliance with these guidelines,” McCourt said in a statement issued late Wednesday night. “On this basis, it is hard to understand the Commissioner’s action.” My tipster tells me  McCourt has already retained the services of law firm Sullivan & Cromwell…The Dodgers dwindling attendance and fan beating was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I think McCourt is finished in Dodgertown.
