Wrestlemania 31 Location Narrowed Down

According to a report by the San Jose Mercury News, WWE has narrowed down the choices for the WrestleMania 31 host city to either Santa Clara, California or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

ABC 6 in Philadelphia recently contacted WWE about online rumors that the city's Lincoln Financial Field was being considered as a future host for a WrestleMania pay-per-view event. WWE responded to ABC 6 with the following statement:

Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial field is one of the top contenders to host WWE’s Wrestlemania in 2015 or 2016, according to a report.

Wrestlechat.net reports that both Lincoln Financial Field, and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California are the top two contenders for the events. Levi’s Stadium will host the Super Bowl in 2016.
