Speculation That WWE Would Be Interested In Purchasing TNA Library - #MMBTNA #MMBWWE

It was speculated on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE would likely offer to purchase TNA's tape library if for some reason TNA couldn't get picked up by another network. The going rate for something like that is around $500 per hour of footage. TNA has a little over 1,000 hours of just Impact Wrestling footage.

WWE Hall of Famer Trying To Obtain Memphis Wrestling Library - #MMBWWE

Jerry Lawler has been greatly involved in trying to resurrect and assemble what's left of the old Memphis Wrestling video library. Lawler has been reaching out personally and via intermediaries to people who have masters and/or good quality copies of old Memphis Wrestling TV episodes in an attempt to acquire them. Lawler has apparently a number of DVD vendors that are helping with the search also.

WWE Purchases Another Wrestling Library

WWE recently purchased a library of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling footage shot in Virginia at ringside next to the ring announcer, from Jim Crockett Promotions events. The footage was filmed by George Pantas, as he revealed in the Norfolk Navy Flagship. The footage includes what may be the only complete match on tape featuring Ric Flair vs. Buddy Rogers.
