WWE Said To Be Very Pleased With NXT Newcomer #MMBWWE

Word from within WWE is that merchandise sales for NXT star Kevin Owens are doing extremely well. Owens' first-ever WWE t-shirt first went on sale during the weekend of Takeover on December 11th.

WWE officials are very happy with how the former Kevin Steen has brought his fanbase with him to NXT, something a lot of NXT talents don't do.

Update On Devitt, Steen, & KENTA Coming To WWE - #MMBWWE

Regarding the potential WWE arrivals of Prince Devitt and Kevin Steen, word is that Devitt isn't taking any bookings in Europe after around July 31st and Steen's final ROH dare is July 19th. Both are expected in WWE before the end of the summer. As noted, WWE will be announcing KENTA's signing during their tour of Japan in July.

Former ROH Champion Could Be Offered WWE Development Deal Soon

Prowrestling.net reports that Ring of Honor Kevin Steen is expected to be offered a WWE developmental deal soon. It's also reported that top indie stars ACH and Rocky Romero will not be offered deals. They attended the same WWE tryout camp as Steen, Roderick Strong and Willie Mack, who we noted earlier is close to being signed. No word yet on Strong.

Kevin Steen Gets WWE Tryout; Talks About Leaving ROH
















Prowrestling.net reports that Ring of Honor stars Kevin Steen, ACH and Roderick Strong participated in a WWE tryout at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando last week. Regarding Steen, his ROH contract expires in June and he's been telling people he isn't planning on re-signing, though he is open to working for them as a free agent.

ROH Star Gets WWE Tryout & WWE Signs CZW Champ
















Ring of Honor star ACH (Albert Harle Jr.) will be at the next WWE tryout camp with Kevin Steen and Roderick Strong.

WWE has signed former CZW Champion Drake Younger and he will begin working out at the Performance Center in early May. Young attended the December WWE tryouts, which were described as overall having the least amount of talent as any other WWE tryouts in recent memory.

PWI 500's Top Ten For 2013

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has released their annual PWI 500 special issue. John Cena takes the top spot, making him the first person to be ranked #1 in three different years (2006 & 2007). Bret Hart (1993 & 1994), Steve Austin (1998 & 1999) and Triple H (2000 & 2009) have all topped the list twice.
