Kim Kardashian gave her husband Kanye West a set of keys for his birthday -- the keys to STAPLES CENTER ... in what has to be the most baller gift ever!   

Kanye turned 38 on Monday, and Kim went all out ... renting the home of the Lakers and Clippers for a day so Yeezy could play a basketball game with his boys.
We're told Kim dropped $110,000 for the gift -- and the only thing more impressive than that is the guest list.

Kanye's running the court with NBA superstars Russell Westbrook and John Wall ... plus his pals Justin Bieber, Tyga, and Pusha T. James Harden and 2 Chainz are coaching, John Salley is announcing ... and freakin' John Legend sang the National Anthem!

Icing on the hardcourt cake? Kim hired real NBA referees, and a few Laker girls to cheer on her hubby. 
Oh, and Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal, and Scottie Pippen ... made videos that played on the jumbotron.

LAPD has responded to a call from a Beverly Hills office building where Kanye West was said to be involved in a physical altercation, a source tells X17online exclusively.

Kanye arrived there about an hour ago and police arrived 10 minutes ago. A source inside the building tells X17: "Kanye beat up a guy and the guy called 911." It was unclear why the altercation started.

Apparently, Kanye West is tired of the world criticizing him for sticking his foot in his mouth. The rapper went on a 27–minute–long rant at his Toronto show, saying he'll stop speaking negatively for "six months, at least."

His oddly–musical stream of conscious described how West is looking forward to 2014, and even 2024. "I decided to completely focus everything in 2014 on all the new ideas and all the creative outlets," he said.

The rapper referenced the disagreements he has had with Nike, and promised to move forward from it with a positive attitude. "I'm not [going to] ever bring up Nike again. And the only way I'll bring them up is in a positive light," he said. "Because I actually appreciate the opportunity to have been able to make my own shoe with them, and if I didn't have the opportunity I wouldn't have my deal I have with Adidas right now."

West has become well–known in recent years for his controversial actions and statements. While he isn't willing to change who he is, he noted his need to keep it quiet for a while. He explained that his fans are one big family and he is the "crazy cousin." He joked that every family needs someone to play that role.

His rant might have gone a little overboard, but his sentiments seem positive. "I just really feel like I want to be expressive with my work, with my music. I want to be expressive with this opportunity I have with Adidas, and just go home to my family," he told his audience.

Will Kanye manage to keep his mouth shut in early 2014? We'll believe it when we see it.

Kanye West pulled the plug on a heckler at a recent show in San Antonio, Texas, kicking the female fan out of his Yeezus concert after she repeatedly yelled at him from the crowd.

The fan took issue with the Maison Martin Margiela mask that West sports during the show, yelling at the rapper to take the mask off. West stopped singing after the repeated words from the fan, walking over to the audience where the yelling was coming from.

"Now, you can see my face on the internet every motherf--king day," Kanye told the crowd. "I came here, I open up a motherf--king mountain... and you tryin' to tell me how to give you my art. Now tell me something, y'all want me to do this show the way I would do this show?"

After the yells continued, West signaled his security to kick the fan out of his show. "Don't f--king heckle me," West told the crowd. "I'm Kanye motherf--king West."
