Jackson sported a "Respect My Vote" tee with the O in vote the Obama campaign logo in a photo he sent out via his instagram. Make sure you go out and vote on Tuesday, November 6. It's your constitutional right to do so & many fought for you to have a say so say it loud by heading to the voting booth & voting.

Eagles Jackson Issues Apology for Anti-Gay Remarks

A day after it was reported that Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson used homophobic slurs during a radio appearance on a Sirius XM hip-hip station, the big-play Pro Bowler has issued a public apology.

Jackson, speaking through his Twitter account, looked to clear the air a short time before 8 p.m. on Saturday in a series of tweets. 

"I am sorry for using words that I know to be hurtful and unacceptable in a recent radio interview," Jackson, 24, wrote.

"I have made a mistake and would like to make it clear that words I used meant no disrespect to the Gay and Lesbian community," his second tweet read.

He finished with, "Intolerance is unacceptable and I apologize to anyone I have offended."
