Bobcats unveil new ‘Charlotte Hornets’ logo for 2014-15 season - #MMBSports

The Bobcats unveiled Saturday a new logo that will serve the franchise once it re-brands as the “Charlotte Hornets” for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season. The new logo, seen above, was announced during halftime of Charlotte’s home game against Utah at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Charlotte Bobcats have announced the color scheme for their switch to the Hornets next season. They will be going with the original colors the Hornets used during their first stint in Charlotte with the addition of black, cool grey, & light blue.

No word on if the additional secondary colors will be used on the jerseys or if they will just be apart of the logo. The Bobcats are set to switch to Hornets the beginning of the 2014-2015 season. The original Hornets moved to New Orleans where they now play as the Pelicans.
