Carmelo Anthony Soon To Be Laker?
We all know Carmelo Anthony wants out of Denver..He has declined to sign an extension with the Nuggets and is looking to take his talents elsewhere..Now comes word that he wants in on the Lake Show. “Former Laker (and Celtic) Tony Gaffney is claiming on his facebook that Carmelo Anthony wants to go to the Lakers and that the rumored deal would revolve around Lamar Odom and picks. Gaffney who is currently playing in Turkey is saying that he has “plenty” of sources for what it’s worth.” Do the Lakers really need Melo to compete for a third straight title? Gasol, Kobe and Carmelo would definitely match up just fine with the Three Kings in Miami. Thanks to JR at Celtics Life for the scoop.
