Sony confirms official PS4 Remote Play app for Windows and Mac #MMBGames

 Well that was quick. It's only been a couple of days since someone came up with an unofficial app to stream PlayStation 4 gaming to PC, but earlier today, Sony's awesome Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on Twitter that his company is "indeed working on an official [Remote Play] application for PC/Mac." Yes, it will support both Windows and Mac OS X, which is already more than what the Xbox One offers, though Yoshida has yet to provide a date. Regardless, this is bad news for the unofficial app's developer, who has apparently been working on this project on and off for over a year and planned on charging $10 for the hard work, but at least we can give him or her some credit for getting Sony to up the game for its consoles.

Nintendo World Championships: Nintendo Announces Return of Video Game Competition After 25-Year Hiatus #MMBGames

The Nintendo World Championships, a gaming competition last held in 1990, return this year for E3 in June. Nintendo fans can compete for a spot in the Championships on May 30 at select Best Buy stores around the country, and the winners will join competitors selected by Nintendo at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday, June 14th, for a multi-round gaming competition. It's just like the old days. The Championships will be streamed live online and fans in LA will have the opportunity to attend the final event in-person. Nintendo promises more details in the coming weeks.

As for the rest of E3, Nintendo will once again host a Digital Event full of game announcements and (fingers crossed) puppets, this time on Tuesday, June 16th at 9AM PT. Nintendo Treehouse will stream live from the E3 show floor June 16th - 18th, and on June 17th and 20th, select Best Buy stores in the US will allow fans to play Mario Maker on Wii U. That's 4PM - 9PM local time on Wednesday, June 17th and 12PM - 5PM local time on Saturday, June 20th.

Ray Rice To Be Removed From Madden NFL 15 After Week 1 Update #MMBSports #MMBGames

NEW YORK (AP) -- Video game publisher Electronic Arts is removing former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice from its recently released Madden NFL 15 title, the latest company to pull its support for the player.

EA Sports says Rice will be removed from the game's roster Friday through an online update. EA Sports cited Rice's indefinite suspension from the NFL as the reason for his removal.

EA's Madden is, by far, the oldest and most popular football video game franchise. Its origins date back to the late 1980s, when the industry was in its infancy. It was one of the first games to be updated each year, a business model that would eventually be copied by other publishers.

"World of Warcraft" to Memorialize Robin Williams in Video Game #MMBGames

Robin Williams' spirit will live on in the virtual world of Azeroth.

After thousands of fans petitioned the developers of the online role-playing video game "World of Warcraft" to memorialize Williams, the game's lead designer said Thursday that Blizzard Entertainment planned to create a character inspired by the actor, comedian and avid gamer, who was found dead on Monday at the age of 63. Lt. Keith Boyd of the Marin County sheriff's office said Williams committed suicide.

What Does Sting's 07.14.14 Tweets Really Mean? - #MMBWWE #MMBGames

Recently Sting tweeted a darken image of his face in full face paint followed by another tweet simply stating 07.14.14. This lead to marks around the world to speculate the icon would be making his WWE debut. What I and many others have been told is the tweets were to promote the trailer for the upcoming WWE2K15 video game.

No one is sure what we will see in this trailer but seeing 07.14.14 lands on Monday, we can probably expect it to happen at some point during RAW. Will we see actual game play? Will it just be announcing Sting as a character in the game? Or will we be seeing both? We will all find out what this all means this coming Monday on RAW.
