The DeLorean is Making a Comeback! Back to the Future, Today #MMBComic

For fans of Back to the Future, today’s news will come as a very welcome story as the movie’s most popular remnant, the DeLorean is slated to come back to production.

Now, this isn’t what you’re thinking, if you think anything like us, that is. No, they aren’t redesigning the car, but rather copy and pasting 300 more versions of the 1982 DMC into the world.

The limited run of 300 cars is slated to be priced at $100,000, kind of steep considering the more expensive examples are going for somewhere in the ballpark of $30,000 on eBay. If you simply must own a brand new one, though, now is your chance!

Check out the video below that speaks more to the plans for reviving the pop culture icon. What do you think of this production run? Will it change the value of the cars as a whole? Are these worth the $100k? Should they just let the brand rest in peace?

“It is my last time,” Jackman told the host. “I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.”
