Brock Lesnar to retire from UFC #MMBUFC
The former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE star informed the UFC on Tuesday that he's officially retiring from competition.
He's officially removed from the USADA drug-testing pool, and if he returns to the UFC, he'll have to serve the remainder of his one-year suspension (retroactive to Dec. 15).
Lesnar (5-3, 1 NC) returned in June with a victory over Mark Hunt after almost five years out of the octagon. The win didn't officially last long, though. Lesnar, 39, tested positive for the estrogen blocker clomiphene and the result was changed to a no contest.
The Beast Incarnate immediately went back to work in the WWE with a match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam two months later.
