Possible Clarification Regarding WWE TLC Pay-Per-View Match

As previously reported, it was announced on Monday night's edition of WWE RAW that John Cena and Randy Orton will face one another in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match at the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view event, in which both the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line.

In a possible clarification, EWrestlingNews.com is reporting that at this time, it appears that WWE will NOT actually be unifying the two championships, as they have posted the following quote from WWE.com:

"Who will be left standing with both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships when the dust settles?"

The website also lists the following statement from WWE.com, which includes the previous quote:

"UNIONDALE, N.Y. – There can only be one Face of WWE. And although he remains WWE Champion, the odds of Randy Orton reclaiming that symbolic status have just been cut in two by an unlikely challenger: World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.
