Philadelphia Soul at Iowa Barnstormers Game Day Preview

The Philadelphia Soul seem to have found their swagger again. After losing the opening game of the season & waiting another week during the bye before getting back to action, the Soul handed the Orlando Predators a lob sided lose 61-33 in Orlando. The Soul enter week 4 with a record of 1-1, but face an Iowa Barnstormers team that should not be overlooked. 


Coming off a lost to the Spokane Shock, the Barnstormers are looking to bounce back and extend their record to 3-1. Lead by the reigning AFL Pulse Player of the Week in QB J.J. Raterink & the return of all arena WR Jesse Schmidt, the Soul will have to put up some points to match the Barnstormers offense. Although Schmidt is playing in his first game of the season he knows how to find the end zone in a hurry. The Soul cannot afford being a hole early & playing catch up. Look for an offensive explosion between both teams.

With the win the Soul would be one game over .500 & heading into the week 5 home opener versus the Cleveland Gladiators.
