Beyonce, Inauguration 2013: Singer Lip-Synched Her Performance

Beyonce's Inauguration 2013 performance of the "Star Spangled Banner" has been all the rage for the past 24 hours. How she performed so well, under enormous pressure, with the whole world watching.


Well, what if we told you she was faking it? How would you feel? It turns out that she lip-synched the entire thing.

"All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day," Kristin DuBois, a rep for the United States Marine Band, tellsPage Six. "We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don't know what the reason why."
