Ruben Amaro is taking no prisoners. Mere minutes after word of the completion of the Shane Victorino trade, Jon Heyman reports that the Giants have agreed to acquireHunter Pence from the Phillies.
Based on yesterday’s premature reports, this has been in the works for a couple of days. The Giants are reporting to be sending back catching prospect Tommy Joseph and will be picking up a “chunk” of Pence’s 2012 salary.
