NHL Scheduled To Announce Winter Classic At Citizen's Bank Park with Press Conference

Today is the day! The rumor which is all but been officially confirmed will be when the NHL holds a press conference at Citizen's Bank Park to announce that the 2012 Winter Classic will be in Philadelphia. 



There have been some rumored jerseys floating around online as well, maybe today we will finally get to put and end to the rumors and see what digs the Flyers will be wearing on January 2, 2012.


HBO will begin preliminary shooting for the Winter Classic Monday at the 1:30 p.m. news conference at Citizens Bank Park in which the NHL will announce the event.
 
This is part of HBO’s “24/7,” the outstanding documentary that tracks both teams one month out from the game with up-close and personal interviews, game snippets, off-ice occurrences, etc. 


Full time filming begins December 4th.
