Lenny Dykstra Website Opens To Raise Money For His Bail
Lenny “Tough as Nails” Dykstra refuses to be incarcerated…The former MLB All-Star was recently arrested and charged with 25 felony counts. He remains in jail, unable to post part of his $500,000 bail..Here’s the scoop. “Lenny has remained in custody on $500,000 bail. To bond him out, it requires $40-50,000 in cash to pay the bail bond agent, and collateral to secure the bond,” part of the post from his donation website www.SaveLenny.com reads. “The $500K collateral for the bond has been secured, however – the bondpremium is still needed—” “This site was set up to help Lenny bail out of jail and so he can enter rehab and get his life back. He is eager to fight the charges and reclaim his reputation. He was an amazing baseball player and very good businessman. They are going after him so hard and the bail is so outrageously high simply because he a celebrity” Says a Dykstra spokesperson…If there’s any huge Nails fans out there, now’s your time to step forward and help one of the grittiest players in Major League history
