The Philadelphia Soul head to the windy city Chicago to face the Chicago Rush tonight at 8pm on NFL Network in a week two battle. The Soul is coming off an overtime win last week in Pittsburgh 58-52. While the Chicago Rush also won their week one game 49-41 in Milwaukee.
The Soul who looked sluggish the first half of their week one game, took command in the second half before allowing the expansion Power back in the game and forcing overtime. The Soul will have to make sure they continue the offensive groove they found in the second half of week one and tighten up their defense in order to hold off the Rush.
The Rush who held off the Mustangs showed they can score at will, but timely penalties and mistakes allowed the Mustangs to hang around. The Rush will have to make sure they like the Soul continue the offense and tighten up the defense. The age-old rule is penalties will kill you. Not to mention mental mistakes.
This will be a homecoming of sorts for Coach Ho who lead the Rush to an ArenaBowl title and 6 division titles while head coach. It should be interesting to see how the crowd in Chicago will welcome Coach Ho in his first game back to Allstate Arena.
