As you may have already heard by now Miss USA Rima Fakih will take part in the new version of WWE Tough Enough set to air after RAW the night after Wreslemania. However although Tough Enough is suppose to be a show to see if talent is "tough enough" to make it in the WWE, rumors are circulating that the WWE already has their mind set on signing Rima to a contract. Rima who is a die hard WWE fan and even guest starred on RAW and Tribute to the Troops is said to be high on the WWE's wish list. She comes off a bit of a sports fanatic mentioning wrestling, football, and baseball in video blogs she has posted on her site, so she wouldn't mind getting down and dirty with the other WWE divas. The question is can she pick up on the moves and hang in there? She has no wrestling experience and as long as she can show the WWE some promise be sure to see them cash in on this deal. WWE feels since she is the current and reigning Miss USA it would do wonders for their popularity hence the reason they are high on her without seeing her perform any moves at all.
The down side is other female talent on the show are not promised anything and may have more experience then Rima in the ring. So is it a matter of her celebrity status getting her that push? Sure seems like it but you won't see me complaining. I wouldn't mind seeing her every week on WWE programming. -MMB
