Miss USA Rima Fakih To Compete On WWE Tough Enough

The WWE has announced that current Miss USA Rima Fakih is to compete as a contestant in the returning Tough Enough reality show. A press release from the company states that Fakih will be competing in the series, broadcasting the Monday night after WrestleMania, in an attempt to become a WWE Diva.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to battle for a title in an entirely different competition,” said Fakih in the press release. “Miss USA is an incredible honor that’s provided invaluable experience which will undoubtedly help me as I push my performance and athletic skills to the limit. I look forward to learning if I have the mettle to make it in WWE.”

Fakih, a lifelong fan of the WWE, already as an edge over her competition as she’s was guest star during the 2010 King of the Ring 3-hour Raw special, and then appearing at the WWE’s 2010 Tribute to the Troops show. That previous WWE experience may help her win, and certainly going from Miss USA to the wrestling ring will gain the WWE plenty of publicity which never hurts!
