So the San Diego Padres have finally become big boys now and no longer wet the bed or their jerseys. In case you have no clue what I am talking about, the Padres have ditched the "sand" aka piss colored road jerseys for the traditional grey jerseys. This may upset some, but honestly I thought the yellowish sand colored jerseys made them look like they had taken golden showers before their games.
In other Padres jersey news, an updated version of their camo jerseys was unveiled and it's more high tech. It's the same pattern the Marines wear and they no longer will have what I like to call army green alternate hat, but a new brown colored hat to match the jerseys. I think they look pretty cool and understand why the Padres honor the military, but kinda liked the green hats.
