The NFC sixth-seed Packers' improbable run through the playoffs continues this weekend. After a wild-card win in Philadelphia, and throttling many people's Super Bowl favorites, the Falcons, Green Bay now heads to ... Chicaco?
Well, that's the story, at least according to the front page of Monday's Green Bay Press-Gazette. Specifically, the above-the-fold headline screamed, "ON TO CHICACO." Clearly, the Packers will travel to Chicago to face the Bears. But unlike the internet, where mistakes are easily fixed with a few keystrokes and a couple mouse clicks, after the presses have run, and the newspapers have been delivered, there's not a whole lot you can do about misprints. At least not until the next edition.

In the annals of embarrassing headlines, this one probably doesn't crack the top 20. That said, I suppose we should all be thankful that the Pittsburgh papers didn't accidentally call the "Jets" the "Jerks". Rex Ryan would call a press-conference telethon to talk as much trash as possible between now and the game.
As Yahoo.com's Chris Chase astutely points out, "Either the New Orleans Times-Picayune was trying to translate some unprintable Rex Ryan trash-talk or someone forgot to change the dummy text in the headline on the inside jump from the front-page."
Speaking of which, the New Orleans Times-Picayune ran the following headline for their Jets-Patriots recap story:
